Alexandria Pickrell
Head Coach

Alexandria Pickrell has been named the first women’s soccer coach in Albany State University’s history. In 2016, Pickrell led the Darton State College women’s soccer team in its final season after serving as an assistant coach for one year.

A former soccer player at the University of West Florida (2010-2014) in Pensacola, Fla., Pickrell was a four-year letterman, three-year starter and all-conference player for the Argonauts. She led UWF to the NCAA Division II national title in 2012. She was also on the West Florida team that finished as the national runner-up in 2013.

Pickrell led West Florida to three Gulf South conference championships in 2010, 2012, and 2013. She was a GSC all-tournament selection in 2011. From 2012-2013, Pickrell and UWF won 34 consecutive games.

In her first and only season as the DSC head coach, Pickrell guided the Darton women’s soccer team to a 16-2 regular season record, the Region 17 regular season and tournament championships and a berth in the NJCAA national tournament.

Pickrell received her bachelor’s degree from West Florida in history with a minor in Spanish.
